While walking the barracks Fort Frederick State Park in Big Pool Maryland back in 2008 I got lost in the beautiful imperfections of a lead glass window.

This was taken back in 2007 and is one of the first photos taken with my first DSLR camera. I do not consider this to be among my better shots, but it does hold some meaning as it was the first time that I encountered the narrow depth-of-field effect that is possible when you shoot with a wide aperture.
